I think the reason for the low price is that Version 4 has been released and that Provantage just wants to get rid of their Version 3 packages quick.
As a K-12 or post High School student or the Parent of that Student, you qualify to buy the Academic Version.
You will have to send them a copy of your Student Id, Report Card or some other evidence of qualification but, it's pretty easy.
Once you have that software, install it on your computer and activate it.
Next, download a Trial of Expression Web 4 from Microsoft and install it on the same computer. During the installation it will find Version 3 and automatically upgrade itself to a Full Version instead of a Trial Version.
Of course, if you already have Version 3 of Expression Web you can still do this and get Version 4 for free.
Do this fast, though or all the Version 3 copies will be sold. Microsoft might even withdraw their Free Upgrade deal???
